The only optional purchase for owners is a lost-pet alert boost. The alert itself is free and goes out to people nearby the moment you create it; a boost just widens the reach. Ask Rocco has a generous daily allowance of questions, a cost ceiling rather than a paywall.
Why the app is free
Go Rocco only works if the dog owners on your street use it too. A paywall in front of the map, the lost-dog alerts or the health records made every walk a little less safe for everyone, so in September 2026 we took it down. Nothing was cut; it was all unlocked.

On a client Go Rocco introduces, briefly
Their first bookings only: for 90 days or 10 bookings, capped at £50 per client. Then they're yours at 0% too. Listing on the marketplace is optional.
For makers who sell in the shop
Independent British makers sell direct through their own Stripe account. Commission is on item prices, never delivery, and payouts are scheduled at dispatch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the app really free?
Yes. Every feature is unlocked for everyone: walks, health records, group chats, safety zones, the lot. There is no subscription and there are no adverts.
I paid for Alpha Pack before. What happens now?
Alpha Pack is no longer sold, and everything it unlocked is now free for everyone. Anything you already paid for is handled by Apple or Google in the usual way; the details are in our Terms of Service.
What does Go Rocco Business Pro cost?
£15 a month or £144 a year. There is no free trial because there is nothing to trial: the free plan is the full product and Pro is the convenience layer on top. Switch it on when it pays for itself.
Do you take commission from walkers, groomers and sitters?
Not on their own clients, ever. Only a client Go Rocco introduces carries a fee, and only on that client's first bookings: 15% for 90 days or 10 bookings, capped at £50 per client. After that the client is theirs at 0%.
Is there a family plan?
You don't need one. Each person has their own free account, and you can share a dog's profile with family, carers or a dog walker from the pet's page.
Do you offer refunds?
Purchases in the app are handled by Apple or Google depending on where you bought them. Business Pro is billed by Go Rocco and can be cancelled from your plan page at any time. UK consumers have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
